Quazeequilts

Quilts in progress.. I need to figure out borders for the wedding ring.. I just can't face 180 half triangle quilts and applique borders.. I need to get this finished and off my plate.
the black challenge thing will get a ufo back to add to it's craziness. and the the green scrape nine patch will get finished soon too I hope.

My machine finally made it onto the guys work bench 6 weeks after I dropped it off.. Now he finds out that it needs a new motor which doesn't seem to be under warranty. Thanks Pfaff... and my newer Pfaff by a year is acting up, too.. Never dull..

But, I will keep sewing.. and mowing and cleaning and walking dogs... Okay, I can only up load on pic at a time.. what's with this..

Quilts, Quilts , Quilts...

My machine repair guy calls today.. my Pfaff 2027 has a failing motor.. who would have thunk.. that a 2 1/2 year old machine would need a new motor.. And my second pfaff is ailing too.. Hoping it doesn't die before he gets the older machine fixed..What luck.. Why me.. Maybe I sew too much..
My DD is baking bread.. a family tradition.. My grandmother baked bread, my mother baked bread and I baked bread.. So nice to know that some traditions get carried on..
The world is a crazy place .. but good to know that some little things continue like baking homemade bread.. I need to make a loaf of bread, too.. with butter and jam right out of the oven.. I"ll take a pic..too.

I've been here.. Mowing lawns around big water ponds.. I've got my own flock of egrets eating frogs I would guess. But, they spook everytime I try to get a pic.
Oopps pics of backyard still under water.. and a wonderful bromeliad that was growing in the big pine tree blown down by Faye. What a wonderful gift. I wonder if it will bloom someday? I need to upload the quilts later..
My house is falling apart.. I've got a garage window that has sent the springs flying ..one to top of window the other to the bottom. It will be a challenge to fix. I had a faucet to the washing machine leak most likely for months into the wall. Awaiting the handy man to come and re drywall a section,, paint .. new floor for utility room, kitchen and bath.. If only I were stronger and could do these things myself..

I have been quilting inbetween all these tasks... Here are the three projects not completed but well on their way.. the 10 day...7 month double wedding ring needs borders and quilting... the 9 patch from scrapes needs to be layered and quilted and the challenge quilt needs borders, backing and quilting.. Still works in progress..

My computer is crumping too.. It just locks up and won't move to a new page, plus it is having trouble shutting down.. Too funny.. Never dull.. I just keep move'n on one day at a time..
