The days are ticking down to leaving Florida and moving to Alabama. I've been kept busy having lunches and dinners with friends And spending time with my dear sons who live in Florida. I will miss them all dearly.

The pics of today are .. Picture of my one son's tomato which we had on wonderful grilled open face tomato and cheese sandwiches. Which he made me try without mayo. It was great. I am a mayo addict no wonder my chol is high. It's a work in progress.

Picture of the new to me house. Closing looks like it will happen next week and moving in the middle of June.

The last pic should be picture of cat and dog together. They love each other so much. Funny gal and guy..

Here is my little screech owl who comes back each year to raise her little bird baby's in my gutter. I keep telling her she will get wet. But, she is a faithful little momma. I'll miss her when I'm gone to Alabama.

If I get to Alabama at this rate .. There is always some piece of paper work that isn't done correctly or missing or late. Not on my part but the lenders, sellers, and other people that need to be scheduled. What is the next challenge..

I'm working to get four quilts done before I leave.. I must be losing my mind. That is about it for today. I would like a big fudge sundae or a large hamburger with cheese and pickles ... Not low fat or low sat.. Guess, I will have my beans, broccoli and pasta for dinner..

What a different a few days make. The two banks are talking and doing there thing and we are now scheduled to move in June. This is good. And this is scary and exhausting. Which room do I claim as the quilting/sewing room. The dining room has great morning light. There is a bedroom in the basement that would work or there is a little bedroom that also faces east and gets that great morning sun raise.

Today will be my last shuttle launch to watch from my front porch here in Florida. I've been spending time with friends and quilting buds. I sure will miss them all

Picture of the walker bag I made for my mother's walker. She got it before Mother's Day and used it when she went to Physical Therapy. It was a hit. I could go in the business. She like the funkiness of it. She had wanted it to be reds and made from my scraps. Go Mom..

I put a fat quarter quilt together yesterday and plan on putting borders on it and the orphan quilt I was working on last week.. I have plans to get these 4 lap size quilts quilted before I put my machine in the box to move to Alabama.

This is a crazy date.. What do I do if the two banks have two different closing dates. It gives the foreclosure bank the right to cancel the whole thing.. YUCK.

They have us all by our throats...I almost wanted to us another word, but I try to be nice.. I think I'm tired of being nice.

So I'm working on orphan quilt number 2.. It's as crazy as ever.. I'll take some picture soon of that.

This is the quilt with using lazygal's letter technique. It was fun using up stuff and incorporating some buttons from my collection. I think this is my new direction.
Okay, I can't upload a picture on dial up.. too slow .. need to go to library and try again...
