Where has this month gone. It has been super hot, humid, but definetely lacking in thunderstorms or any form of presipatation. We may be moving for job reasons and I have mixed feelings about that.. But, I'm a pretty flexible person. so I'll deal. I've managed to make 6 more little neonatal quilts for donation. Working on my own creation for quilt club challenge. It will be funkie as usual. Also tried a pattern from the Friday afternoon quilting group.. So it's not that I'm just sitting around.. Just not moving very rapidly.. Got bite up with something a week ago when I was out with the dogs.. Still red spots over both of my arms .. Such is the fun of dog walks. Will post the pictures of neonatal strip quilts later.. They are very funkie too..and the beginnings of the Christmas challenge piece..

Today I find out if the laser surgery to my eye worked.. I sure am praying that it has so then we can proceed to the other.. Got my cholesterol re check last week and the results were great.. Not 100% where I'd like them to be but better 183 total from 286 hdl 47 from 49 and ldl 123 from 283. So it is headed in the right direction.. I've lost 10 lbs and will need to continue to work on that too. Slowly but steady.. Fibromyalgia has been acting up .
My dear daughter in law has also been diagnosised with the same.. She is on some new medicine that has been approved for this .. I hope she does well on it..
I've got free motion flamingo quilting group this thrusday .
They are doing 100 christmas stockings for a children's hospital this meeting. It should be fun.. And next weekend I'm going to quilt with a friend who is working on two baby quilts for expectant grandbabies. It should be fun too..
I've almost finished the copy of my calender quilt.. Did not turn out as great as I'd hoped. Wish I could have found the orginal pattern.. But, you know me make it up as I went along...Picture will be posted soon. I love the new blogger thing of saving the draft as I go along... since I usually forget to save as I go..
Will take my camera with me today and see if I can get a photo of my friends property since she sold it.. They bulldozed down everything.. actually moved a pond and are now building townhomes on it.. Progress I guess..
